Animal life in Nova Scotia includes such game species as deer and moose as well as birds including partridge, pheasants, ducks, chickadees, blue jays, woodpeckers, cardinals, crows and many others. Three deer visit several times a week and when I go near the door to admire them they stand still and stare at me, sometimes stomping their feet. I am so lucky to have all of these types of birds and wild animals visit our backyard which is in front of my studio. This is an oil painting on stretched canvas and measures 8 x 10 inches.
